Angela Li-Mei Yong

Angela is the lab manager at SPL. She graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Sigma Xi at Wellesley College, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Computer Science. Her research interests lie at the intersection of emotion regulation, cultural psychology, and clinical outcomes, with a particular focus on adolescent populations. She has both qualitative and quantitative research experience spanning emotion regulation flexibility, Asian American adolescent psychology, and clinical youth populations. Outside of the lab, Angela enjoys dancing, reading, and exploring new music genres. On weekends, you can often find her journaling at a local café.
